Learn About Our Polices at the Ant Street Inn

Before making a reservation at the Ant Street Inn, we encourage guests to review our policies. Our guidelines are designed to ensure a comfortable, safe, and enjoyable stay for all visitors, and to preserve the inn’s historic charm and peaceful atmosphere.

Children

CHILDREN UNDER TWELVE (12) YEARS OF AGE ARE NOT ALLOWED AS OVERNIGHT GUESTS.


Pets

PETS are not allowed.


Smoking

NO SMOKING INDOORS. However, there is an outdoor designated area for smoking. There is a $500 fee per night if you smoke inside.


Access

STAIR ACCESS ONLY: One ground floor room, 14 rooms on the second floor - we DO NOT have an elevator.


Reservations

  • On the occasions when a multiple night stay is required, guests must book the same room for both nights when available. Switching rooms is not allowed unless there are no rooms with a two night stay still available. 
  • Bookings or reservations of four (4) rooms or more is considered a group booking, regardless of the booking channel. If an individual, or group of individuals, reserve rooms; separately or together, or under alias names; totaling 4 or more rooms for the same or similar stays e.g. weddings, social events, meetings, etc.; Ant Street Inn reserves the right to enforce Group terms and conditions for these reservations and/or refuse the bookings made in this manner, making them null and void. If you have questions about booking group accommodations at Ant Street Inn, please call during our normal business hours (979) 836-7393.


Cancellation Policy

  • You may cancel at any time up until 12:00 noon on the date of your arrival, EXCEPT during Busy Season/Round Top Antique Shows (all of March and all of October), or any period when a two-night minimum is required, during which we require 14 days cancellation notice. We will charge your credit card due to a cancellation if you are a "No-Show" for your reserved date, or you did not call to inform us of your cancellation. No email cancellations accepted on the day of arrival.
  • Add-on packages have different cancellation policies depending on the package. Most packages require a cancellation notice of 3-5 days with some requiring as much as 10 days advance notice. 
  • Weddings, groups, private gatherings and business meetings have cancellation policies specified in each agreement.


Changes

  • We reserve the right to change the room assignment in the event that the room was reserved at any discounted rate.
  • Rates/policies are subject to change and vary during high impact periods and for special requests.


We do not pre-charge credit cards before check in. We will ask for a form of payment at check in. If you are making this reservation for someone else, and want the credit card on file to be used for payment, call us in advance so arrangements can be made. 

 

Check-in

Begins at 3:00 PM. If you will be arriving after office hours (after 5:00 PM Sunday through Thursday or after 8:00 PM Friday and Saturday), please call or email us during office hours on the date of your scheduled arrival to receive the late entry security code for the key pad entry.  An envelope with your name will be left for you on the front office counter.
